刘向东先生,1963年5月出生,中国国籍,无境外永久居留权,光学仪器专业硕士研究生学历,教授。1990年7月至2008年7月在浙江大学光电信息工程学系(原光仪系)工作,先后任实验室主任、研究所副所长、副系主任、系主任;历任讲师、副教授、教授。2008年7月至2017年9月任浙江大学教务处处长,曾兼任本科生院副院长、党总支书记。2017年9月至2021年9月任浙江大学光电科学与工程学院(原光仪系)院长、党委副书记;2023年6月退休后被浙江大学光电科学与工程学院返聘至今。2021年4月至2026年4月任浙江大学嘉兴研究院副院长。现任聚光科技(杭州)股份有限公司(300203)独立董事、嘉兴中润光学科技股份有限公司(688307)独立董事、纤纳光电科技(浙江)股份有限公司独立董事、宁波耀泰光电科技股份有限公司(874565)独立董事、上饶宇瞳中等职业学校有限公司董事。
