高秉强先生:1951年出生,中国国籍,1982年毕业于加利福尼亚大学伯克莱分校,电机工程与计算机博士;1982-1983年任美国贝尔实验室任研究员;1984-1993年任加州大学伯克利分校副主任、教授、微电子制造所主任;电机计算机系副主任;1994-1998年任香港大学研究资助局主席;1995-2005年任香港科技大学工学院院长;2005年至今任香港科技大学荣休教授;1999年携手李泽湘、吴宏两位教授,发起创办固高科技,担任董事至今。
